There’s Always Money in the Banana Stand, and Soon There Will Be One on Park Avenue

Credit: nigelsbananas.com The Northwest Florida dessert shop is known for chocolate-dipped frozen bananas and other frozen treats, and the company currently lists Orlando as “Coming Soon” on its website. Bungalower has confirmed the Park Avenue storefront. We’re hearing the shop is targeting a February 2027 opening, though Nigel’s has not publicly announced an opening date. Nigel’s got its start after founders Simon Sullivan and Marla Carter tested the concept with a pop-up in December 2020 before officially launching in Seaside, FL in May 2021. Sullivan, a chef at the time, came up with the idea of selling gourmet chocolate-dipped bananas and named the business after his late father, Nigel.
