Heavy rain expected across Central Florida through Monday; some areas could see 4 inches — Windermere Community news

Rain chances will increase across Central Florida this afternoon as a warm front moves through the region, bringing periods of heavier rain through Monday.A few isolated showers are possible during the Sunday morning hours, but widespread heavy rain is not expected early in the day. Rain chances will increase after mid-afternoon, with heavier downpours possible through the evening, overnight and into Monday. While severe weather is not expected, isolated flooding could become a concern, especially in areas that receive repeated rounds of heavy rain. Some locations could see significant rainfall totals between Sunday and late Monday. Forecasters expect 3 to 4 inches of rain in some areas, particularly north and west of Orlando. The approaching warm front will also keep temperatures relatively steady over the next several days.Unlike a cold front, this system is not expected to bring a major change in temperatures.Residents should be prepared for periods of heavy rain, watch for water-cover
