Polk State College has named a former Florida Department of Education leader to a newly focused executive role overseeing workforce development and strategic initiatives.Dr. Kevin O’Farrell joined Polk State College Monday as executive vice president of Workforce Strategic Initiatives.O’Farrell most recently served as senior chancellor for Higher Education and Workforce Development at the Florida Department of Education.
